Billed as the “Worlds Hardest 400 Meter Race” The Race Up The Face is an event that thrills spectators and pushes competitors 
to their limits. This years event will be June 18, 2012 at the WISP resort. Although it is a race in technical terms. Finishing is a victory in anyone’s eyes. I was at the top of the black diamond ‘Face’ of WISP as an EMT last year and the view over Deep Creek Lake and watching the runners sometimes claw and crawl up the slope was amazing.
